I’m so excited to share this Lost Creek Reserve family session with you today! When the King Family reached out about photos to celebrate their son’s first birthday, I just couldn’t wait to work with them! There’s something so special about working with little ones for their birthdays. It’s such a sweet way to capture where they’re at, while celebrating how much they have grown!

LOST CREEK RESERVE & KNOOP AGRICULTURAL HERITAGE CENTER

This location is a wonderful place to shoot families with small children! Wide open spaces for little ones to be free.

The King’s son, Lionel is almost walking by himself, but his lack of mobility didn’t stop him from having a great time. He had so much fun being with his parents (especially his mama!) and playing with leaves.

Logan and Jenna were a blast to work with because they were so silly together! Logan and Jenna tried (and succeeded!) to make Lionel laugh and smile. He was so happy during the entire shoot. You can really feel the love in this family through their pictures.

The weather was beautiful, too! Sunny and warm, which made for a perfect day all around!

My favorite pictures are the ones where Lionel’s parents are helping him walk; he’s on his very tip toes and he’s almost there, and he just can’t wait to go!! You can see the excitement just vibrating through his little body.
